~About Our Puppies~
|
|
|
|
Here at Kinderwood Labradors, temperament and health & soundness are of out-most importance to us. We strive
for quality rather than quantity. This is the reason we may or may not have but one or two litters every other year
and will be very selective in our breedings.
Everything will be done to assure that our puppies will live a long, happy, healthy lives. All of our breeding stock will
not only hold acceptable registry (such as AKC, UKC, UCI/IABCA, etc.) titles, but we also will make every
reasonable effort to produce puppies who are unaffected by major aliments that affect the Labrador Retriever
breed such as Hip and Elbow Dysplasia, Tricuspid Valve Dysplasia (TVD), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (prcd PRA),
Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), and Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC).
We also will only breed Labradors with the best temperaments. We will not breed hyperactive (i.e. "hot", "extremely
driven", etc.) dogs because we feel their temperament is inappropriate both as a working dog and as a family
companion. However, hyperactivity is not to be confused with natural drive. Our dogs have plenty of natural
energy & retrieving instinct and are fully suited to upper level performance events. (If you are looking for a

All of our puppies will be delivered with first vaccinations and deworm, vet check, permanent identification,
registration materials, our 30 month health guarantee, and an informational puppy kit.
