We are a small, quality hobby "kennel"
of Labrador Retrievers located just southwest of the Fargo-Moorhead
metro. We believe in a structurally and genetically sound, all-purpose
Labrador Retriever- one that remains correct to the truest intent
of the breed's history & standard. We have found that
the Conformation or "English" style of Labrador most appropriately
meets our goals, so that is the style with which we are building
our foundation. We only keep a select few dogs at a time to train,
show, and trial. All of them live in our home and are first, and
foremost, members of our family.
We actively compete in AKC, UKC,
and IABCA (UCI) sanctioned Conformation and Performance events.
We are very proud to have our first Champion, Piper,
who earned her International & National Baby CH titles in May
of this year and is on her way to earning her UKC CH title. She
is also showing well in AKC.
All of our breeding stock will be (when
age appropriate), at minimum, AKC registered, OFA certified for
Hips, Elbows, & Cardiac, ACVO examined yearly against PRA (Progressive
Retinal Atrophy) and other eye disorders, as well as tested for
CNM (Centronuclear Myopathy) and EIC (Exercise Induced Collapse).
Additional tests and clearances may include but are not limited
to prcd PRA (genetic) and/or testing for color genetic purposes.
